Harpuś – grab a map and head out for an adventure!

This Saturday, April 25, 2026, the Sopot City and the Harpagan Orienteering Club invite you to Harpuś – an orienteering run. We’ll meet at the foot of Łysa Góra, and from there participants will head into the surrounding forests, also passing by the Forest Opera.

Harpuś is an orienteering event designed for everyone – from families with children to experienced hikers and runners. Those who have never taken part before can join a short training session before the start. During this spring edition, participants will have the chance to explore the hills and valleys around Łysa Góra, as well as visit the Forest Opera.

Four routes are available to choose from, varying in length and difficulty. The easiest one (green route) is suitable for young children and beginners, and is also recommended for parents with strollers. The most challenging and longest route – the black route – is more demanding and requires greater experience and fitness. Intermediate participants will enjoy the blue and red routes. Each participant will receive a color map with their route.

After returning to the finish line, everyone will be welcomed with commemorative diplomas, refreshments, and a prize draw with gifts.

Residents of Sopot who hold the Sopot Card can participate free of charge, both when registering online and on-site.

Event schedule:
  • 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM: registration and starts (participants can start at any time and also sign up on-site)
  • Until 2:00 PM: finish line open

Registration is available via the website until Friday before the event (3:00 PM). You can also sign up on the day of the event between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM.

More details can be found on the website and on Facebook @dinoharpus. The event is organized by the City of Sopot and the Pomeranian Orienteering Club HARPAGAN based in Gdańsk.

Special thanks to Restauracja Klakier for their hospitality.
